About Me
I’ve faced many health challenges throughout my life, even since I was born, and that has also impacted my emotional wellbeing and led me into episodes of depression and anxiety.
My experiences led me to become deeply interested in health and healing, starting with myself.
I am grateful for modern medicine for the support it gave me at critical moments and the impact that had on my life, and at the same time I found that it had little to offer me in terms of caring for my health in the long-term or understanding my emotions. Yoga is what first gave me that kind of support; by combining the physical and spiritual it was the first step towards transforming my perspective on what being “well” really means.
Since then I’ve dedicated myself to studying and practicing different healing modalities, seeking to harmonize ancient wisdom with modern methods and needs. My goal is to accompany others who are seeking the same, with the understanding that true healing begins when we connect with our inner nature and with the sacred that resides in each of us.
As I explored the Vedic sciences, I found in Ayurveda
practical wisdom to care for the body with food, daily routines and medicinal herbs.

My professional Background
I graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, majoring in sociology and music. In India I trained as a yoga instructor, focusing on hatha and ashtanga yoga including pranayama and yogic philosophy and psychology.
I studied Ayurveda at Alandi Ayurveda Gurukula (Colorado), where I completed a four-year, full-time program to become certified as an Advanced Ayurvedic Practitioner by NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association).
I have previously worked as an instructor and clinician at Dr. Vasant Lad’s Ayurvedic Institute, where I instructed students in clinical skills and herbology and worked with clients in the clinic. I work with both ayurvedic and western herbology, specializing in herbal formulas both general and personalized that integrate wisdom from both traditions.
I am registered with the Bach Centre of England as a Bach Flower Remedy Practitioner (BFRP). My practitioner number is USA-2024-1015U.
